Yes, I Am Special

1 Peter 2:9 (NKJV) But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light

Ephesians 2:10 (NKJV) For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

Isaiah 43:1 (NKJV) Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are Mine.

I am of God's own special people.

You and I were created for God's own special people. He calls us to Himself. He desires for each one of us to live the calling He has placed within us. We know we can trust Him, because Scripture tells us He leads us to triumph. In Romans 12:2, we know His will is good, perfect and acceptable. Scriptures also tells us He will make known our path. He will lead us into triumph. If there is going to be a triumph then there was a battle we had to get through. It may be a battle against the enemy or our flesh but there was something we had to overcome. When we embrace being God's own special person, then we step into knowing the solution to our situation, we have ears to hear His leading and eyes to see the door wide open.

When something is special to you, then you take very good care of it. You do not leave it around haphazardly. You don't allow just anyone to use it, wear it or borrow it. It is special. You and I, as His children, are special. He sets us apart for His special, particular purpose. He has plans for our lives we may not comprehend until we are walking them out, until we have taken that step of obedience. However, we need to comprehend our value to God. You and I are special to Him. He will take very good care of us. He will encourage us and cheer us on. He will come to us when we are lost or unsure of what to do. He will speak to us to make sure we do not get stuck, discouraged, or remain too long in situations that may steal our trust in His plans for our lives. You and I are special to God.

God specifically crafted you for His good works. He gave you your personality, talents, gifts, and purpose. He comes to meet with You to give you passion to fulfill what He has placed within you to accomplish for His pleasure.

We cannot entertain the lies of the Devil that tell us the blood of Jesus isn't enough. For those who will believe, Jesus redeemed us from the curse of sin and death. Therefore, you and I have been redeemed. He calls us by name. You have been called by name. Have you quieted yourself down so you can hear God call your name. I do not believe God speaks to us only one time. I believe He calls for us, because He is proud of us. He wants to counsel us. He wants to cheer us on. He wants to refocus our attention on our purpose when we get distracted.

You are special because God calls you, "mine." God who created the universe and all that is in it calls you His own. You are His. God who never sleeps nor slumbers listens to you and is concerned for you. He does not turn you away. He positions you for the world to see. He positions you to testify of His strength in your weakness. He positions you to testify of His joy in your sadness. He positions you to testify of His way out when there was no way out. He positions you to testify of His power over the darkness in your life. He positions you to testify of what He has said about you to blot out what the world has said about you. He positions you to testify that you are already taken, you are His. He calls you mine.

I am of God's own special people.

Father, thank You for creating me to be your very special person. You call me Your's and I am in Your hands. I want to be wholly given to You and the plans You have for my life. You are amazing. I will lift Your name on high and worship You. Thank You for setting me apart to be Your special person. I am no longer afraid because I know I am Yours and You protect, guide, counsel, fellowship, redeem, and restore those who You call Yours. I am Yours by the blood of Jesus Christ my Lord, Amen.
