Why are We Here?

Warriors Arise: August 27th, 2020

John 21:1-4 (NKJV) After these things Jesus showed Himself again to the disciples at the Sea of Tiberias, and in this way He showed Himself: 2 Simon Peter, Thomas called the Twin, Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, the sons of Zebedee, and two others of His disciples were together. 3 Simon Peter said to them, “I am going fishing.” They said to him, “We are going with you also.” They went out and immediately got into the boat, and that night they caught nothing. 4 But when the morning had now come, Jesus stood on the shore; yet the disciples did not know that it was Jesus.

Have you been in a place then all of a sudden you looked around and thought, "Why am I here?" I realize this is day three of talking about the disciples being in the boat, trying to fish all night and catching nothing. Then verse 4 starts with, "But when morning had now come". So, were they going to fish all day too? There is no evidence that they had intended to come in just because morning had now come. You know how hardheaded we can be when we have our mind set on something. Whether we recognize our wrong or not, we will press on and on hoping to prove to everyone we weren't wrong.

These governors who are allowing the domestic terrorism to continue in there city are beyond common sense. And to think they have already sent the bill from the first round of damages to the federal government. If they didn't seek federal help to discourage the domestic terrorism then why would the federal government have any obligation to pay for the damages these governors allowed to continue in their state? These states can raise their own state tax to pay for the damage they allowed to continue in their state. But why punish the rest of us when our governors did not allow domestic terrorism to continue. We didn't vote their governor into office and we can't vote them out for allowing domestic terrorism to continue.

Think about it. If I come over to your house uninvited but insist I am visiting you to express where I have been wronged, would you let me in? I tell you I will be peaceful. In your stunned state you don't shut the door so I come in. As I share my frustration and take a vase and throw it on the floor. I blame you for what has been done to me and I take a lamp and throw it across the room. In my temper tantrum you realize that no one had wronged me. I begin to go through your kitchen and find some garbage bags. I yell, "You owe me!" I go through your cupboards and load the bag that was yours but now mine with all of your food that was yours and now is mine. Because you owe me for something I have never experience (slavery) and something you have never done (own or abuse a slave). While I am sharing others come in to your house and steal every off the walls, out of the draws, and furniture too. I am sharing about something that happened well over a hundred years ago. You realize all this started because I wasn't told the whole story and what I was told was not the truth. Matter of fact, I have no evidence that you have ever judged me for anything.

Would you be okay with this? Isn't it time to get out of the boat? Innocent people are being killed because of domestic terrorism. How is this giving anyone their freedom? It isn't, these acts of domestic terrorism are taking away our freedoms.

If you are defending these action my question to you, "When will you look to see Jesus and recognize you are not where you are supposed to be?"

Think about this. These same governors who who have allowed their state to be ruined by domestic terrorists and undermined the police men and women who are sworn to defend the weak are now being ordered by their governors to give 24 hour a day protection around their house and everywhere they go. This reveals the character of the governors as well as the police officers.

The police officers deserve our respect. I will not judge them based on one man's actions. Actually, I feel sorry for that one police officer in MN. After seeing the full video, he had patience that most people do not have. He spent nearly 15 minutes trying to gently get George Floyd to get out of the SUV and into the police vehicle. George Floyd was strung out on drugs, had enough in his system to kill himself, 3 times the amount that would have killed him because the one of the four drugs they found in his system depletes a person of their oxygen. The lack of oxygen started because of the drugs he had taken. How was the police officer to know which drugs he had taken. The person who should be on trial is the one who withheld the full video. They were wrong. One police office, broke and took a situation too far and people show the worst of what they can be. Within days, people were making fake calls to 911 asking for police to come. Once they arrived the people would pull them out of their vehicles, beat them, and kill them. The latest atrocity, people who are locking the police officers in the building and setting it on fire. How can these people think they are any better than the police officer in MN? They aren't. Their crimes are thought up, premeditated and executed. The police office in MN had not intentions of the end result. He is locked up and the domestic terrorists are wreaking havoc on Americans every day.

Are you asking yourself, "Why are we here?" And I am asking you, "Are you ready to get out of the boat? Are you ready to return to the shore and get on your way, up the mountain to meet with Jesus?"

Think about this. When you make your decisions on what you think is ok, try to picture it happening to you. Would you be ok with someone coming into your house and kicking you out, take your stuff and burn your house down? No house, no place for your children. Would you be ok with someone coming into your workplace, taking what they can get their hands on and setting fire to it? No job; therefore no money to move into a house and no way to feed your family.

If you are unwilling to let the police do their job, when will we ever be safe again? When the governors do not do their job how will we prosper again? When we are not allowed to defend ourselves how will be live in peace?

When are we going to stop listening to everyone else take away our ability to think and reason? When are we going to use the brain God gave us to identify enough is enough. How far are we going to let this go? Understand these people who are leading the riots are professionals. They know what they are doing and they know how to do it. Think about professionals. They get paid to be the best as what they do. You are not going to want to see where the money is coming from. Why would terrorist bother to come here when they can fund the domestic terrorists we already have? Think about it. They will let us destroy all our freedoms and kill each other and they didn't even have to get their hands dirty at all.

Why are we here? Why are so many still in the boat?

For the disciples night was over, it was unproductive, morning had come and they are still on the boat. So many facts have now come forward about the attempted arrest of George Floyd, the BLM, governors orders, ambush and killing of police officers, the "peaceful protests" that are cover for domestic terrorism, abortions are still being funded by our tax dollars, people have lost their lives defending their homes and businesses, governors are trying to close churches but keep bars and abortion clinics open etc. The truth is being revealed, morning has come, the light is on but we continue to allow these injustices to tear our nation apart.

Isn't it time to ask, "Why are we here?" Why are so many still in the boat? Do people even want to know the truth?

Father, I have been praying for the truth to be made known. Sometimes I don't want to know the truth. I want to believe that what is happening right before my eyes isn't happening. i pray for people all over the United States to have the veil removed from their mind and understand these terrible things have really happened and continue to happen. This is not a movie this is real life. I ask for people to rejoice that morning has come, the truth has been made known. I ask for people to have the courage to admit their wrong judgements and see, really see how we were led to believe a lie. I ask for each person to realize how they had been lied to and the cost of those lies. I pray You would come and continue to reveal the truth in each and every situation. I pray You would not let the truth be covered up. I pray people would be cautious to jump on the bandwagon without any facts. I ask for You to call us out of the boat. I pray for You to remove confusion from our thinking. I ask for people to wake up to the lies and repent for judging the innocent. I ask for each person to see their wrong and repent in the name of Jesus. I ask for the people who have done the damage to be held accountable to restore what they have destroyed. We need You. We need to get out of this boat and find that mountain, the one You have called us. I ask for people to not turn off their TVs in order to pretend this isn't happening. I ask we would watch and then pray, hear You and then act as You direct in Jesus' name amen. I ask we would humble ourselves, admit our wrong, get out of the boat and return to You in Jesus' name amen.
