Warriors Arise: May 16th, 2020

Sometimes we don't say the things we really want to say. Mary, when she is asked by the angel why she is weeping, she responds with a statement and a question. When she responds to their question, "Because they have taken away my Lord" there is so much in that statement. When someone has been taken away from you, for Mary, it was Jesus. He was the one who gave her the opportunity to have a new life, a new reputation, and a new purpose. Have you ever wanted a new chance at life? A new opportunity, where you create a different reputation than what you that of everyone who knew you? Have you ever wanted a new purpose? This is what Jesus gave Mary.

Mary weeps "because they have taken away my Lord". We do not know who she think the "they" might be. They could be guards, the Pharisees, the chief priests or the elders. They is general because there is not evidence as to who took Jesus. Our emotions can be sent over the edge when we do not have the facts. In all the chaos of what had happened and how quickly Jesus was crucified how was she to know the truth. She wasn't just searching for her Lord but she needed the truth.

Warriors, let's pray for the truth. In our humanness, we tend to be overcome by all the information fed to us and want to shut down or declare a truth before we have heard it. I would like us to pray for each person to have the blinders taken from their eyes so they can see the truth and for the ears of God's people to be open to hear what God is saying. Many times in order to hear God and see God we have to be willing to surrender our own ways of life, patterns of thinking, and to be led by God. God will generally not speak as we think. The Bible tells us in Isaiah 55 that God's way are higher than our ways. God's thoughts are higher than our thoughts. In the New Testament we are told we are seated with Christ in heavenly places. Therefore, we must be diligent to take a seat next to God and not make decisions based on what the world tells us to believe. When we are seated with Christ, we are in a position to know the truth. When we know the truth we can be empowered to walk according what is revealed. It is time to think seated next to God.

Father, I come to take a seat next to You. I ask for people all over the world to turn to You and take their seats next to You. I ask for our eyes to be open to seeing as You see. I ask to have the courage to be a part of what You are doing and join You in freeing Your people from fear. I pray You would show me the truth of Your plan, what is going on and how You want me to respond. I ask for ears to hear Your voice. I want to know You and know Your ways. I no longer want to make decisions based on the media or what others are telling me. I have listened to so many other sources. I want You to be my source, my reference point for each day and follow throughout my days. I take my seat in the heavenly places, because I am Your child. As Your child, I desire to learn of Your ways. I want You to show me what is true. I want You to point in the direction I should go and things I should say. I want You to work in my life. I ask for You to come and set the record straight. I ask for those who are deceived by the media and the stirring of the mob to be silenced. I ask for You to meet with Your people and reveal truth. I ask for the pot stirrers to have their hands removed from the spoon. I ask for peace to be released here on earth. I ask for the enemy to be found guilty and the pandemic to end faster than it came in. I ask for the enemy to remove his hand of destruction, plans of division, and spinning of lies in Jesus' name. I ask for the enemy's plans to be thwarted by the truth. I ask for You to make a way for all mankind to be free from the threat of the coronavirus. I ask for Your people to stay away from accusing the "they" and focus on truth. I ask for eyes to see beyond the bellowing of accusations. I pray for eyes to be opened so we are not blindsided, mistakenly voting on things that will cost us our freedoms in the future. I ask for people to see beyond the smoke screen of the "they" and see what is really being said. We will only know the truth if we take our seat next to You. Revelation is coming, but it doesn't have to be now. Just like Abraham walked with You and asked if You would spare Sodom and Gomorrah for 10 righteous, but there were not 10 righteous. I am asking for a world wide revival, people to search for the truth and find You. I am asking for Your people who are called by your name to humble themselves and call upon You. We will not stop praying for Your kingdom to come. We will believe You will make a way out of this whirlwind in Jesus name. We will not be swept up by what "they" are saying or what "they" have done. We will search for You. In You, we will see the truth and know the truth and the truth will set us free. We will not be led by the lies of the enemy any longer. I ask for each person to know You as their Deliverer, as their Messiah, and as their King in Jesus' name amen.

My hope is for Believers in Jesus Christ to join together each day to pray, to push back the enemy as we release God’s power here on earth against the coronavirus. The prayers will be listed each day as Warriors Arise. I will put a date with it so we can keep them straight. If you have any questions please feel free to make a comment or private message me.
