Warriors Arise: March 3, 2024
Matthew 7:24 & 25 “Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.
Where is your house Built? What rock is Jesus referring to?
What are your house, your beliefs built upon? Is your belief built upon:
what your peers say,
what the media tells you,
what your parents teach you,
what your children challenge,
the entertainment portrays,
literature dictates,
religion direct?
The wise man builds his house, his belief, upon the Rock, the Word of God. When our house is built upon anything but God's word, it will not stand against the rain, floods, or winds. It will fall. The only way our belief will be wise and stand strong against adversity, challenges, and attacks will be because we have based our belief off of every Word from God.
If we have build our house, our belief, upon the Rock, the Word of God, then we will be steady and strong through the rains.
If we have built our house, our belief, upon the Rock, the Word of God, then we will remain standing when the floods rise.
If we have built our house. our belief, upon the Rock, the Word of God, then the winds of adversity cannot knock us down.
We must be founded upon the Word of God. We can't just know it. We have to believe it. If we believe it then we will live it. Our actions will always follow what we believe. Do you believe the Word of God? Is there evidence in Your life that you have built your house, your belief upon the Word of God?
My Father in heaven, hallowed be Your Name. Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. I ask for Your Word to be revealed to me. I ask for understanding and comprehension of Your Word. I pray You would come and make Your ways known to me. I surrender to learning Your Word. I will apply Your Word to my life. I will respond in all situations according to Your Word in Jesus' Name, amen.
