This isn't Rocket Science

I have to tell myself, "Veridee, this isn't rocket science!" I have learned praying is simple. I do not know why I made it so difficult for years. Since the Father already knows what is going on because the Spriit has told Him, all I have to do is believe and agree with what the Spirit is already praying. Pretty simple right?

Since prayer is so simple, powerful, and produces results, why do we wait so long to pray or ask for prayer support?

For years, I have practiced quickly turning before the Lord as soon as something comes up. I do not see that as weekness. It is a strength, I am recognizeing I could never be powerful enough or wise enough or have enough resources or connections for things to turn around, doors to open, and the the answer that will give me the best results. God is the only one who can do that.

I find my strength in the Lord. It isn't weakness to pray. Prayer is my super power! When you and I pray in agreement with the Spirit and Scripture, God will answer. Is it always the answer I want? No. However, it is nice to have the answer so I can move on. There is a time to persisit and a time to pack up and move on down the road.

We persist when there has been an injustice or the thief as been spotted because God is the Judge and He will make things right. There is a time to pack up and move on becuase where we are is holding us back from waht God has for us instead of empowering us to live abuandnt life. You and I need to know the difference. The Holy Spirit will reveal this to us if we will ask and be prepared to follow what He says.

Father, I deligth in simple prayers. I am thankful to know this doesn't have to be complicated. I will trust Holy Spirit to guide me. I will seek to know when I am to persist and when I am to pack up and move on. I know You want me to live th eabundant life. I want the courage to move forward. I want the strenght move the road blocks out of the way. I am incredibly thankful You have made prayer simple. Thank You! I lift up your name and look to You in prayer in Jesus' name amen.
