Shattered

Warriors Arise: February 20, 2022

Colossians 2:9-10 (NKJV) For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; 10 and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.

I am made whole when life has shattered before me.

Hebrews 13:20-21 (NKJV) Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, 21 make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.

Life throws at you horrific happenings. You can feel as though your world is crashing all around you, even crumbling to dust. You can feel like you have not protection, no honor, no dignity, like Nehemiah felt toward Jerusalem. God sent him back to Jerusalem to rebuild the walls. Even though he had permission from the king and was sent by God, he still had to face the heckler, nay-sayers and the armies who tried to rise against him. His enemies taunted him saying, "Are you going to rebuilt those walls with burn rubble?" But in 52 days the wall around the city was restored with the burnt rubble.

It will take work but if you and I will position ourselves before God, He will complete the work He has begun in us. His love is to redeem, restore and make us whole. We have to be willing to let Him pick up the pieces and secure them back in place. We have to help rebuild and we may have to carry a weapon in the other hand to fight of the enemy who says it is impossible. But with God all things are possible for those who believe. It is time to be made whole again.

I am made whole when life has shattered before me.

Father, I ask for You to come and rebuild what has been knocked down. I feel shattered and unprotected but I know You have directed this time for me to be made complete. You have made this time for the cracks to be sealed. You have made this time for Your complete work for be done in me. I am willing to have to put every piece back together. I will stand ready to fight the enemy who comes to undo Your work in my lift. I will not longer be a reproach. You have restored my dignity and given me honor because I am Your child. I will be made whole by the potter's hand in Jesus' name amen.
