Galatians 3:26-28 (NKJV) For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. 27 For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

Ephesians 1:3-6 (NKJV) Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, 4 just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, 5 having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, 6 to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.

Ezekiel 16:9-14 (NKJV) “Then I washed you in water; yes, I thoroughly washed off your blood, and I anointed you with oil. 10 I clothed you in embroidered cloth and gave you sandals of badger skin; I clothed you with fine linen and covered you with silk. 11 I adorned you with ornaments, put bracelets on your wrists, and a chain on your neck. 12 And I put a jewel in your nose, earrings in your ears, and a beautiful crown on your head. 13 Thus you were adorned with gold and silver, and your clothing was of fine linen, silk, and embroidered cloth. You ate pastry of fine flour, honey, and oil. You were exceedingly beautiful, and succeeded to royalty. 14 Your fame went out among the nations because of your beauty, for it was perfect through My splendor which I had bestowed on you,” says the Lord God.

I am royalty.

As God's child we are heirs to the kingdom of God. Jesus is King of kings; therefore, through Salvation we are adopted by the King. There are many Scriptures about those who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior that they become sons and daughters of God. When we believe this then we should begin to carry ourselves differently. It doesn't matter how other people treat us. It matters what we think of ourselves, how we carry ourselves, how we speak and what we do.

As I understand who I am in Christ, then I need to take the next step and embrace being royalty. I need to know God is with me. He has so much for me. Heaven can't contain the love He has for me, for His people. You are that precious to God, the overflow of heaven into your life and circumstances. When we keep embrace who God has made us to be, royalty, then everything we do should be expressed from that understanding.

I like to watch movies of royalty. Some of them have helped me to understand how I am to embrace being royalty, as a child of God. I should be confident, present myself well because I represent God. I should keep the peace, lead well with kindness, compassion, and wisdom. These are how God leads; therefore, I would be wise to walk in His footsteps. Jesus did not hold back when kingdom power needed to be released into someone's life or situation. Jesus called people to live from their heart grounded in God loves instead of laws that created shackles of bondage. God's love is full of forgiveness but with an expectation that we do something to advance His kingdom with the gifts He has given us. There is responsibility with being royal. We are to be leading the world not hiding from it. Royalty that hides from governing their people through love and wisdom does not have the strength to offer people their freedom.

We are royalty. Therefore, we are to make decisions based upon what we see God doing. If we can't see what He is doing then we look to the Bible to show us what He has done in the past. God cleans us up and gives us purpose, position and power. Those who follow God's lead will see the kingdom of heaven expand.

I am royalty.

Father, why am I so afraid to step into royalty? What stops me from extending Your love to others? What stops me from seeking You for wisdom and following Your direction? What stops me from leading? Why do I desire to please my own comfort and stay behind the scenes? I seek You know. You have made me royal. I want to walk in the fullness of what that means for my life. I want those who are around me and those who serve with me to know they are royal. I pray I live with Your purpose inside of me being released by the power of God in me, and take my position to expand Your kingdom in Jesus' name amen.
