Cross Over part 23

Joshua 3:11-13 (NKJV) Behold, the ark of the covenant of the Lord of all the earth is crossing over before you into the Jordan. 12 Now therefore, take for yourselves twelve men from the tribes of Israel, one man from every tribe. 13 And it shall come to pass, as soon as the soles of the feet of the priests who bear the ark of the Lord, the Lord of all the earth, shall rest in the waters of the Jordan, that the waters of the Jordan shall be cut off, the waters that come down from upstream, and they shall stand as a heap.”

The miracle God does here, at the Jordan River, takes a huge amount of faith. The waters are not parted by wind as before when the children of Israel crossed the Red Sea. The waters are not moved back, pushed up river 18 miles until the soles of the feet of the priests touch the waters. There is something powerful about our step, where we walk, and who we have with us while we are walking.

The power of our step: Romans 16:20 (NKJV) And the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly. This verse demonstrates where Satan is to be. He is to be under our feet. We are not to entertain the lies of the enemy, we are not to sit down and discuss matters with the enemy. We are to use the authority God has given us and crush the enemy under our feet. When you follow God, you have powerful steps. Christ in you gives you to the dominion to release God's will everywhere you go, with every step you take.

There is power where we walk: Joshua 14:9 (NKJV Strong's,) So Moses swore on that day, saying, ‘Surely the land where your foot has trodden shall be your inheritance and your children's forever, because you have wholly followed the Lord my God.’ Caleb was given a promise when he took a stand for God in front of the people when 12 spies returned from their 40 day scouting of the promised land. Caleb and Joshua were the only two out of the 12 who gave a good report of the land and its produce. But when the other 10 spies started to discourage the people from going into the land God had promised, Caleb silenced the people and tried to talk sense into them. He told them everything God had promised was true. All they had to do was follow God and they would receive what God promised.The ten other spies discouraged the hearts of the people. God was impressed with Caleb's passion to follow Him. He said He liked Caleb because he had a different spirit. God promised Caleb He would have the land he scouted as his inheritance for he and his children forever. Caleb could not be shaken. He would not let the enemy get into his mind. He would not believe the lies. He believed the Word of God and let it fan the flame to remove the giants from his land God promised him. There is power in where we walk. We have the authority to defeat the giants on our land, putting Satan under our feet as we walk in the dominion God has given us.

There is power in Who we have with us while we are walking: The priests had the presence of God seated on the mercy seat on the ark of the covenant. They carried the power with them. If they had left the ark of the covenant in the camp the waters would not have parted. They could have even said, we want to protect the ark, when the waters part then we will carry it in and over; but that is not what God wanted. It was the presence of God carried by the priests that produced the miracle. When they placed the sole of their foot in the water, the miraculous happened. They had to have courage to step into the floodwaters of the Jordan River. They did not know when the water would be pushed back. They didn't even know how far in they would have to walk for the waters to part. But they stepped into the flood stage waters of the Jordan and the miraculous happened. No matter how dangerous the situation, when we carry the presence of God with us, danger backs off from us, the impossible becomes possible

Father, thank you for Your power. Thank You for the promise, Your peace will crush Satan under our feet. I will be at peace. I will not fret about the miracle needed. I will operate with a sound mind focused on You. I will carry Your presence with me and walk forward into the plans You have for me. I will embrace the dominion You have given me. I will receive Your promise and walk to fulfill it. You have promised dominion to Your people. I pray in the name in Jesus' for Your kingdom to come. I pray for revival across the land. I pray for the miraculous to happen so the world will know You are God. No one else can stop the floodwaters and send them up stream but You. The waters are overflowing their banks and taking all kinds of liberties. I ask for You to remove the blockades and for Your power to remove the blockades and Your people to walk through what You have promised. I will not allow the enemy to cause me to doubt Your word. I will not allow the enemy to entertain me with his threats. I step forward in the power of Your presence and the authority You have given me. I speak peace, the peace of God and crush Satan underneath my feet. I bless my mind, my body, and my heart to be in perfect peace with Your plan. I will walk forward and see the miraculous of the Lord be established as a lasting memorial for the world to hear, know, and remember for all time. Thank You for giving me You r peace that surpasses all understanding. Thank You for filling me with Your presences as I extend Your authority over the enemy. The blockade will be pushed back and removed because of the authority of Christ in me. I release freedom to the captives and restore the broken because of the power of Your love. I bless Your people to embrace what You have promised in Jesus' name amen.
