Know God, Know Truth. No God, No Truth.

Warriors Arise: November 28, 2020

1 Samuel 30:13 (NKJV) Then David said to him, “To whom do you belong, and where are you from?” And he said, “I am a young man from Egypt, servant of an Amalekite; and my master left me behind, because three days ago I fell sick.

This can make my stomach turn and my blood boil. You may ask, "Why is your stomach turning and your blood boiling?"

Because people have a twisted way of thinking this is how God would act toward His people. But it is a lie from the pit of hell. With all of the lies we have been told this year and seeing people who really do not want to know the truth, it only makes it easier for satan to deceive us. We willingly allow ourselves to be lied to. We do not hold people accountable to speak the truth. People will pass on lies as if they are truth and they don't even care that it isn't the truth. It was a story and people listened to them so they told the story and embellished it a little bit more every time they told it.

Truth #1: God will not leave you behind.

I can show you Scripture after Scripture of this truth but if You do not believe it then it is a truth you reject. Once you reject the truth that God will not leave you behind, then you will embrace rejecting God. When you reject God, you cast away His love and walk with an umbrella overhead. You don't want anything He has for you. You make sure that umbrella doesn't allow anything God pours out from heaven to reach you. You think having that umbrella God can't see what you are doing in the darkness. But God can see into the darkness, this is how He leads you out. At some point the devil's lies will be unveiled by the light from God, who never leaves you nor forsakes you. Because you are in darkness, you do not see Him; but God always sees you and knows exactly where you are. His love reaches into the darkest places and hardest hearts to bring His children to a safe place with plenty of light to see the truth. He is the only God who will NEVER leave you behind.

Truth #2: God is not throw you away because you are sick.

The Amalekite threw his slave away; he left him to die. God is NOT a man. God sent His Son, Jesus Christ to shed His blood for our healing, die on the cross for our salvation and He raised Him from the dead to redeem us from the curse of death, hell, and the devil himself. We were ransomed by the Jesus Christ, the Messiah. We were restored by the power of His love. We were given restitution for what the enemy stole from us. We were given authority over the devil. We were given wisdom to identify the devil's lies. We were given understanding to know the length, depth, height, and width of God's love. We were given dominion to rule here on earth as God rules in heaven. God is NOT going to throw you away because you are sick. God is going to bring you through the sickness and restore your body, soul, and spirit as a living example of His demonstrative love.

Know God and you will Know the Truth.

Father, I come before You because I desire to know You. I do not want to be deceived any more. I want to be a person who seeks You for the answer, looks in Your Word to know the truth, and follows the leading of the Holy Spirit. I have some changes to make. I will have to align my thinking with what Your Word says. Your Word is full of wisdom, direction and promise. I ask to know Your wisdom, to see the direction You want me to go and to fulfill the promises You have for me. You are good in all of Your ways. I thank you for picking me up, carrying me to safety, and healing me physically, mentally and emotionally. I thank you for seeing my pain and restoring my body. I thank you for Your amazing love that encourages me, strengthens me, and gives me hope for each day. I pray for You to go to the people who have turned their backs on You. I ask for You to reach them in their darkness and show them the way out. I pray they would desire to live in the truth and to know the truth. I ask for You to shine Your light into the darkness where they are so they can see where their decisions and the lies of the enemy, have gotten them. I ask for You to purify their mind from all the lies they have believed from the enemy. I ask for truth to be revealed in their life. I pray they would receive Your love and guidance. I pray they would align their ways with You and walk in them all the days of their life in Jesus' name amen.
