I Have Purpose

Warriors Arise: February 23, 2022

1 Cor 7:17 (NKJV) But as God has distributed to each one, as the Lord has called each one, so let him walk.

I am living out my purpose, destiny and calling.

God has given each one of us a purpose. It is a calling from the time He knit us in our mother's womb. Our purpose is the reason for our being because God has always had a plan for our lives. Our purpose gives us strength for each day. Our purpose gives us courage to take a risk. Our purpose gives us peace in our heart and mind because we know we have value. You and I have been given value because God created us with a purpose. That purpose is meant to be found, developed, and activated in our lives.

1 Corinthians 7:20 (NKJV) Let each one remain in the same calling in which he was called.

We need to search out our calling and lay hold of it. Many times a person's calling will be revealed before they know God. We need to draw from God's strength and live out the calling He has placed within us. Our calling is not something to be hidden from the world. It is meant to be used in honor of God, the One who created us. Our calling is to be lived out loud, without shame, without fear to bring honor to Jesus. Jesus demonstrated how to live out one's calling when He walked the earth. He stirred Himself up when He pulled away from the crowd and met with His Father. He renewed His mind and focus with the Holy Spirit upon Him. He defeated the devil because He never forgot His calling. He set His face toward the cross with fortitude. We are to have that same tenacity. We are to know our calling and remain, demonstrating the fullness of all we can accomplish to expand God's kingdom.

I am living out my purpose, destiny and calling.

Father, I ask for You to come and reveal my purpose. What is it that You placed inside of me before I was born. Yo have given me a purpose and my desire is to step into and lay hold of my calling. I want to fulfill the reason You created me for this time. Holy Spirit remind me of God's call upon my life. Holy Spirit walk with me, guide me and counsel me in how I am to fulfill my purpose. I pray for courage to walk out the calling with which I was given. I pray for strength to finish well. I pray for favor with people so Your kingdom is expanded here on earth in Jesus' name amen.
