Warriors Arise: January 19, 2024

Matthew 6:21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

This verse gets a bad wrap on a consistent basis. The statement by itself, is a true statement. The things or thing your heart embraces, dwells upon, engages, you deem as valuable. That thing or things are your treasure.

When our focus is sharing Christ and demonstrating the Father's love with people, then our heart is aligned with God's heart.

Do you see the good within people?

Do you look for opportunity to build them up and encourage them?

Do you make time to invest in people?

Do you listen to hear or listen to speak?

Do you see their need and take care of it?

Do you anticipate God creating an opportunity for You to love people?

God values people. People are the treasure of heaven and passion flowing from His heart. He know our every heartbeat. He watches over us. He gets us through the hard and gives us peace. He holds us through our brokenness and warps in His love. He picks up the pieces of our disappointment and gives us joy. God love you. You are His greatest treasure. His heart beats for you.

My Father in heaven, hallowed be Your Name, Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Wrap me in Your love. Lead me with Your wisdom. Comfort me with Your peace. Delight in me with Your joy. I want to know Your love so I can give Your love. My desire for Your love is to know how to give Your love. As 1 John 4 tells us, we cannot love until we have been love by You. I know You love me, take me deeper so I an give Your love to others from that depth in Jesus' name amen.
