He Comes

Warriors Arise: November 13, 2021

Exodus 19:6-9 (NKJV) These are the words which you shall speak to the children of Israel.” 7 So Moses came and called for the elders of the people, and laid before them all these words which the Lord commanded him. 8 Then all the people answered together and said, “All that the Lord has spoken we will do.” So Moses brought back the words of the people to the Lord. 9 And the Lord said to Moses, “Behold, I come to you in the thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with you, and believe you forever.”

How does the Lord come to you? How does He appear in your life so others see His involvement in your life and believe you? Selah.

Selah, means to stop and think about it, pause and listen to what the Lord has just said. As we are breakthrough the barrier that has kept us from fulfilling our purpose, we must have a relationship with God that others see.

• I am NOT talking about reading your Bible so all see.

• I am NOT talking about praying longer and louder when called upon.

• I am NOT talking about letting everyone see what you put in the offering.

• I am NOT talking about singing loud so the world hears you.

• I AM talking about worshipping God everywhere you go.

• I AM talking about have the word ingrained within you so you are ready in season and out of season to give an answer just like Paul encouraged Timothy. Therefore, we would have to be in our Bible daily, meditating and studying to transformation in our mind, body, and spirit.

• I AM talking about being a cheerful giver not only of your tithe but in addition to giving an offering, supporting missions, and having a generous hand.

• I AM talking about being the first to sign up when volunteers are needed.

None of this for your glory but to bring glory to God. God should not have to beg us to volunteer, to be a part of expanding His kingdom. We may share as a testimony of what God is doing in us and through us but it is for His glory because we are motivated by HIs love to serve and give faithful.

God tells Moses He is going to come to him in a cloud and speak to him. He wants the people to hear Him speak to Moses. He wants the people to recognize His voice and to respond to what Moses says without hesitation or question. He wants them to know He is the one guiding Moses. Do people know God is guiding you? Maybe that is a premature question. First I need to ask, "Is God guiding you?"

God doesn't give you the power to breakthrough the barriers that are holding you captive to send you on your way. From the time Pharaoh said the children of Israel could go, God was guiding them with a pillar of fire by night and a cloud by day. When you got your breakthrough did you look for God to lead you day and night? Selah.

Many times we enter back into captivity because we didn't follow God after He freed us. Many time fear come upon us becuase we didn't walk in faith to follow God. We took our freedom and went our own way. We put ourselves in a position of being confused leading to being lost. We didn't just need God for the breakthrough, we need God. We need God all the time, out loud, in every breath we take and every decision we make.

Father, thank you for the breakthrough. Right now I ask for You to speak to me, to lead me, to guide my path. I know You have a plan for my life. You desire for me to know the fullness of what You have for me. I pray that I would be bold enough to walk away from my past forms of bondage. As I walk through the opening, I ask for You to break off of me fears that have paralyzed me. I want to walk in the fullness of Your amazing love. I want to know Your voice and to follow You. I want to speak with authority to impact shelves of those around me with Your amazing love. I pray for You to be evident in my life. I submit my ways to You and choose to listen to You and follow You all of the days of my life in Jesus' name amen.
