Warriors Arise: February 8, 2024
Matthew 7:7a “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find;..."
"Seek, and you will find...", not you might find, but you will find. You will find what you are looking for. I can start out seeing God's vision. I can see the fields ready to be harvested. I can see people needing Jesus and to know God's love. I can see the end product, what God desires to happen. It is glorious. Then I have to buckle down.
I've got to seek the Lord for how to go about aligning my heart, mind, soul, and strength with His. When I am fully aligned with God then I hear exactly what the next step to take. There are many times I think, "I don't know how this journey is going to go, but I know where one of the stops will be. It is going to be amazing." God has it all worked out and He plans the best adventures. I get the opportunity to join His adventure! Woohoo!
I have learned to keep my eyes on Jesus. I look for the Father's involvement. I trust Him to work out the details and share them when I need to know. If I don't know, then I continue with what He has put in my hands to do. I pursue because of the Father's love within me. I love because He first loved me (1 John 4:19).
The overflow leadership team and I are planning the Des Moines Women's Overflow Conference at the end of the month. We are asking God to fill the room to overflowing. We are also asking God to fill 10 more rooms at the hotel. While we are asking God, we are seeking who He would have us ask to join us. We know God has something incredible to speak to each one and we do not want anyone to miss out. We are asking for the Spirit of God to compel them to come. It's not a numbers game, it is a chance to receive the keys of freedom and walk in your destiny.
We are thrilled we get the amazing opportunity to take this conference to South Carolina in March. We have been asking God, "Are there more women You want us to reach through Overflow Ministries? How do we reach them?" We are seeking and watching God open doors in other parts of the U.S. It is exciting because each one of the places we will go, God will bring freedom and set people on the path to fulfilling the destiny He has placed within them. Our eyes are set upon the Lord. We will seek Him and follow Him.
Each day, I set my eyes to see God. He isn't difficult to find. The more in sync I am with the Father, the quicker I can spot Him. I love His little signs. They are like love notes on a trail to finding Him and what He wanting me to be a part of. How about you? Are you seeking God? Are you in sync with God? How easy is it for you to see God throughout Your day?
My Father, in heaven hallowed be Your Name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Oh, Father, I pray Your will be done today. I pray, "as it is in heaven let Your will be done here on earth." I do not have to ask for You to hear for I know You hear every word I speak and those tucked away in my heart. I pray for boldness to move forward with You. I ask for focus. I desire to see You. I ask for You to fill me up to overflow. I want to be a part of Your adventure in Jesus' Name, amen.
