Jesus considers us wise if we will hear what He is saying and do them. Do you want to be wise? It would appear it doesn't take being a genius, it only takes hearing and doing what you heard Jesus say.
There is no need to complicate this. It really isn't even about being wise. It is about living the best life you can have here on earth. To have the best life, you and I need to hear what Jesus is saying and do what He says to do. Keep it simple.
What is Jesus telling you today? Are you willing to acknowledge Jesus is speaking to you? Many people will say God doesn't take to them, that is not true. God is talking, He wants to teach us and position us for His goodness and favor. We allow our mind to believe that what God says is not what will better our lives. God has so much for us if we will hear what He is saying.
First, listen to Jesus. Second, acknowledge that you heard Jesus. Finally, act upon, do what Jesus has said to do. The representation of your love is based upon how quickly you will do what Jesus has said?
We have become a people of excuses. We can fill our schedules will nothing and meaningless things, for what? Not to glorify God. Why are we avoiding God? Why are we putting off what we know He wants us to do?
What do you need to say yes to? What is God inviting you to do? Will you love Him in return by sayings yes?
Father in heaven, hallowed be Your Name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Speak to me through Your Scriptures and I will hear. As I hear, I will do. I desire to love You at that moment with my yes and the action plan to go with my yes. I ask for You to speak to me directly. I will do what You say and respond immediately to love you with my yes and the action to go with it in Jesus' Name, amen.
