Christmas like No Other

Warriors Arise: December 24, 2023

Matthew 6:9 & 10 In this manner, therefore, pray:

Our Father in heaven,

Hallowed be Your name.

Your kingdom come.

Your will be done

Ah, tonight we celebrate one of the greatest gifts God has given us. This is a Christmas like no other as we align with our Scripture focus for today. When we pray today, Your kingdom come, Your will be done, see Jesus was also follow the will of God when He chose to hang up His deity and come in human form.

The Father's will is for us to embrace the Redeeming grace Jesus came to give us. It is a gift, it is valuable and necessary for our lives. We celebrate the gift God has given us through the birth of Jesus Christ. He is our Messiah today, just as He was when He walked the earth. Jesus is part of God's kingdom come.

God always knew we would need a Savior. If Adam and Eve hadn't of sinned, someone else would have. We are humans. God has given us the ability to reason. With the ability to reason, we have choices. Even thought God's desire is that none should perish, we have a choice. We all have the opportunity to live with Him in heaven. It is a choice. Today's choice is for us to align our lives to release HIs kingdom here on earth and do the will of our Father in heaven.

God sent His Son to show us how to live empowered by His love. We need Father's love to fulfill the destiny He has placed within us. While Jesus was on earth, He had a destiny to fulfill. He showed our Father in heaven's desire to hear from us, speak to us, guide us, overcome trials, rise as victors, and cause the enemy to flee from us.

When Jesus arrived here on earth, He was bringing the kingdom of heaven to earth, as well as fulfilling the will of God. We needed a Savior, a Deliverer, a Redeemer. He came in human form as Jesus came to set us free from the bondage of sin and death. Today, we rejoice in Jesus leading the way in obeying Father in heaven's will to be done for His life. Jesus hung up deity, His power, His authority, as God, to take on becoming our Messiah.

My Father in Heaven, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come, Your will be done in my life. Speak to me of Your destiny for my life. I pray I have courage to follow You and fulfill what You have put inside of me to do. I pray I would be bold to share Your love, make my petitions known, defeat the enemy through Your Word, and embrace all You would have for me. Your plan of redemption cost Jesus, but, He looked at the cost and said yes. He trusted You and so do I. I will follow You. Let Your kingdom come and Your will be done in my life, in Jesus' name amen.
